Sunshine on a rainy day ☀☀

I couldn't resist it...another jacket. I have been looking for a yellow fishermans raincoat for as long as I can remember, and when I found this I walked over to the mannequin that had it on in the shop with my arms open and a look on my face which would otherwise suggest that I'd found the holy grail...I got a few strange looks, for sure. But it's so cute, whenever it's raining it makes me so happy, and I live in Wales so since I've bought this coat I've been happy a lot! It's such a bright, cheerful colour, and I've been looking for the perfect one for a long time. Some are too yellow, some are too shiny, others are even ankle length (not sure how they've found a business in ankle length raincoats?? Ew.) But this one is matte, a shade of yellow that is not too alarming but nice enough to make a statement, and a lovely length to be able to wear with just about anything. And I couldn't resist the stripey nautical top to match it...whoops I'm poor again.

Coat: £40 from Pull and Bear
Top: £9.99 from Pull and Bear
Watch: £20 from Asos
Lipstick: £5.99 from Kate Moss (the colour is Russian Roulette)

The jacket that made me poor.

So I got this jacket when I went shopping the other day, and basically I can't go shopping until I'm at least 47. After I bought my babies (beautiful boots that will have their own post soon) I promised myself I wouldn't spend much money....but then I saw this jacket. It's from H&M UK and it's utterly gorgeous, the pattern, the shape, the cuts, the colour and material, it's all worth dying for. It goes so well with anything black, which is lucky because black is one of my favourite colours for clothes, and I've paired it with my high waisted topshop "Joni" jeans with the bottoms of the legs rolled up, a plain black top and my boots are from Office. (Highly recommend the boots, they go with everything and they're prettier than George Clooney's face..if that's possible)

-Excuse the mud on the boots, I wear them for school a lot
-Sunglasses are from Wanderland

Styling

It was my friends birthday party and I agreed to give her a make over, the pictures below are the before and after. She's beautiful, it's really not fair! She's got a gorgeous body and is absolutely stunning, so I wanted to make the most of it. Whenever I go shopping, my number one rule is to try everything you even remotely think is nice on because you never know how something is going to look on compared to hanging on the hanger. So when we went I was sending her in with bundles of clothes bigger than her. She's got athletic shape so boat necks are incredibly flattering, however when I saw this playsuit in the topshop sale (7 pounds?!) I couldn't let her leave without it as she looked drop dead gorgeous, I'm pretty sure it nearly gave her boyfriend a heart attack! She has very fine hair, so plaits look beautiful and dainty, and I paired it with smokey/gold eyes to make more of a statement. She has the most incredible eyes you've ever seen, her eyelashes are like fans! Jealous doesn't cover it.

New design!

If there is anyone left actually reading this after I have neglected it for so long, I am starting again and hoping for it to be 10 million times better! I gave up due to myself being way too busy and it was a while ago (cringing reading the posts now, as we all do at old things) but I'm going to start again and make sure the posts are so much better and hope that it turns into a proper fashion blog! So if there is anyone out there reading this, thanks because you're a total babe :-))
